Gamuda Cove Wetlands Arboretum Centre

Our latest project, reminiscent of our work on Entopia, involved two buildings: the Pavilion and the Gallery. We were invited to participate in this project after the client saw our work on Entopia.

Working with an award-winning developer and their in-house design team, our role focused on providing technical support for design and renovation. The project had a tight timeframe of seven months and a closely monitored budget.

We experimented with new construction methods, including a rare rammed earth counter. Collaboration with sculptors utilizing 3D modeling techniques allowed us to explore innovative methods. The project also involved creating a man-made mound with trees and foliage to mimic a forest environment, incorporating salvaged materials like tree trunks, barks, leaves, and stones.

Our contributions extended to designing interactive systems, such as a water play system and various puzzle games. Completing this project by June 2023 was a significant achievement.
